I've been mostly using these as driving glasses and have found them to work reasonably well. But the first important note is that the tint, even at its darkest, is very light. So much so you hardly notice the transition from light to lighter. I'd say it's about the equivalent of 80-90% tint.
Except these are also polarized. Meaning even with the bright summer glare, I'm able to drive or walk around without squinting. But still, good visibility when walking indoors or going from a dark to bright environment.
These sunglasses have good build quality and are fairly comfortable for extended wearing. However, given the minimal change in tinting, you could just as easily get a standard pair of lightly tinted polarized glasses and probably not even notice the difference. Also, some of the pictures for the listing are misleading, as they indicate the glasses get much darker than they do.
Just keep that in mind and if it will meet your expectations, it's a solid buy.
There are so many fashion glasses that may be polarized but are just too darkly tinted to make good driving sunglasses. Although these aren't fashion frames, they don't look too bad compared to full-on sport glasses. What sets these glasses apart are the photochromic quality. It seems to stay on the lighter tint side for all conditions--I view this a positive for driving and one of the few like this. Visibility is indeed great! The other notable thing about these glasses is that the frame is metal whereas many sport frames are plastic. These frames are notably stiff which is very nice. The hinges can flex outward if you have a big head. The nosepiece is not the most comfortable but that's just the style of the piece. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by this sunglasses because from pictures, it's a cheap pair of sunglasses like any other but in person, it's quality and performs well. I have a wide head (XXL hats) and these fit fine. My go-to driving glasses but suspect they will work well for almost any outdoor sporting activity.
Excellent packaging with helpful information and a few extra goodies included. The sunglasses themselves look even better in person and are made very well. They seem sturdy, athletic looking and have quality lenses. Great as a gift or for personal use. Worth purchasing.

I really like these these sunglassses. They are comfortable on my large head. They are light enough to not put much pressure on the bridge of my nose. These are polarized and do a fine job with cutting glare. The photochromic process is not dramatic. The lenses do darken in bright sunlight, but not strikingly.
